This Government Notice publishes adjustments to the 2026/27 Provincial Disaster Response Grant under the Division of Revenue Act, 2026. It records allocations to Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape and Western Cape following severe weather and flooding damages mentioned in the notice.

The notice concerns the National Bargaining Council for the Electrical Industry of South Africa and records the cancellation of two Government Notices under section 32(7) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995. It also states that a Collective Bargaining Levy Agreement concluded in the Council is extended to other employers and employees in the industry for three years from the second Monday after publication. The notice declares that the Main Collective Agreement of the Bargaining Council for the Fast Food, Restaurant, Catering and Allied Trades is binding on other employers and employees in the industry. It states that this applies from the second Monday after publication and lasts until 31 August 2028.

The notice amends Part 1 of Schedule No. 1 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964 under section 48. The schedule substitution listed is for heading 4801.00 covering newsprint in rolls or sheets, with statistical rates shown for several trade groupings.

The South African Reserve Bank published a notice and order of forfeiture in respect of goods of PKSA Group Trust. The notice lists four erven in Crown Extension 12, Gauteng, with their title deed numbers, purchase dates and purchase prices, and states that the forfeiture date is the date of publication in the Gazette.

The notice amends the customs and excise rules under sections 19A and 120 of the Customs and Excise Act, 1964, with effect from 16 October 2026. It replaces form DA 159 and its annexures with a Petroleum Excise Account for Special Storage Warehouse and form DA 160 and its annexures with a Petroleum Excise Account for Licensed Warehouse.

The notice records the imposition of a provisional payment in relation to safeguard duty under section 57A of the Customs and Excise Act, 1964. It says the payment is imposed up to and including 3 May 2027, as set out in the Schedule. The Schedule lists two paper and paperboard subheadings and a provisional payment of 21% for goods from all countries, subject to stated exclusions.

The South African Reserve Bank gave notice of a decision to forfeit R2 675 989.02 to the State in respect of Pendalo Cash ‘n Carry (Pty) Limited. The notice says the amount was standing to the credit of the respondent in a Standard Bank account and that the forfeiture date is the date of publication in the Gazette.

This notice amends a provisional payment under the Customs and Excise Act, 1964. It corrects two company names in the schedule to Notice No. R. 7865, with retrospective effect from 28 August 2026.

This notice records the appointment of members and alternate members to the Valuation Appeal Board for the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality. It states that the appointments are for a period of four years and lists the names and capacities in a schedule.

The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition says it invited public comments on the National Building Regulations and Building Standards Amendment Bill, 2026. The notice extends the submission period by a further 30 days from the date of publication, and gives postal, physical and email addresses for comments.

The notice sets out Competition Commission Rule 39 about breach of merger approval conditions or obligations. It says the Commission may investigate whether a firm has breached a merger condition, issue a Notice Requesting Compliance, and consider a remedial plan or an application to the Tribunal if non-compliance continues.

The notice declares certain properties situated in the Eastern Cape Province as the Grasslands National Park. It also assigns management of the national park to South African National Parks.

This proclamation amends Schedule 2 to the Public Service Act, 1994 for Gauteng Province, with effect from publication in the Government Gazette. It substitutes the names of the Department of Health and the Department of Roads and Transport with updated department names and corresponding head titles.

The notice says the Deputy Registrar of Labour Relations intends to cancel the registration of Azanian Workers Movement (AZAMO). It lists non-compliance with sections 98, 99 and 100 of the Labour Relations Act and says the organisation ceased to function in terms of its constitution.
